• There are many Remembrance Day Ceremonies on Friday and other Veterans’ Week options throughout the weekend.
• The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair continues at Exhibition Place until Sunday.
• The Rendezvous with Madness Film Festival is on now and continues until Saturday while the Toronto Reel Asian International Film Festival is also on now and continues until Sunday.
• The 7th annual Fall BabyTime Show brings products and information for parents and parents-to-be to the Metro Toronto Convention Centre from Friday to Sunday.
• The National Women’s Show is also on at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre from Friday to Sunday.
• The Canadian Stamp Dealers’ Association National Postage Stamp Show is on from Friday to Sunday in the Queen Elizabeth Building at Exhibition Place.
• There’s a Sportcard and Memorabilia Expo being held at the Toronto International Centre in Mississauga from Friday to Sunday.
• The Bata Shoe Museum’s annual “Warm the Sole” sock drive begins on Sunday November 13th and runs to the end of the month, offering free admission on Saturdays and Sundays with your donation of new, unworn socks to benefit the Scott Mission.
• The Bata Shoe Museum is also taking part in a Member Exchange weekend with the Art Gallery of Ontario, with a membership at either location getting you free access to the other on Saturday and Sunday (some conditions apply).
• The Downtown Yonge BIA’s Winter Magic programming has begun, including Window Wonderland displays, the Ice, Wine and Dine event on Saturday November 12th and Buskertainment on from noon to 2pm every Saturday and Sunday from the 12th to December 18th.
• As was previously mentioned here on the blog, the Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival is on now and continues until November 13th.
• On Sunday afternoon the Haggar Hockey Hall of Fame Legends Classic is on at the Air Canada Centre.

1. On Thursday evening Shanthi Dairiam gives a free lecture on women’s rights at the Ignatieff Theatre.
2. The new musical Ride the Cyclone begins at Theatre Passe Muraille on Thursday and continues until December 3rd.
3. The Nine Sparrows Arts Foundation & Christ Church Deer Park present A Concert of Remembrance on Friday evening.
4. On Saturday the Hannaford Street Silver Band and the Amadeus Choir perform The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace at the Metropolitan United Church.
5. The Whitby-Oshawa Mompreneurs Fall Showcase is on Saturday at Octavien’s Banquet Hall in Oshawa.
6. And on Sunday Free the Children and local youth will be in Yonge-Dundas Square to spread the word about the upcoming Vow of Silence campaign; spreading the word in part with a two-and-a-half hour silent youth protest.
